Founder's Story
Attila Gonczy’s acting career has profoundly shaped his vision for STAGEground, which he founded in Hong Kong to nurture young talent and promote the arts.
After beginning his journey in performance at age 8, Attila developed a deep passion for acting, influenced by his mother and grandfather, a renowned Hungarian actor.
His acting and coaching experiences in Hungary and London taught him the importance of effective storytelling and communication.

Empowering Local Young Artists

Relocating to Hong Kong, he recognized an unique opportunity to create a supportive environment for aspiring young minds in a city rich with potential but often lacking dedicated platforms for creative expression.
Inspired by the acting studio of his youth, he launched STAGEground to provide comprehensive training in communication and performance skills.

Through STAGEground, Attila aims to empower local artists, offering drama classes and performance opportunities that encourage creativity and confidence.
His vision extends to fostering collaboration within the local arts community and engaging audiences through performances in both English and Cantonese.
Attila believes that with increased support, Hong Kong can become a vibrant hub for the arts, where diverse stories can be told and appreciated.
